My weekly flick: more city lights

Champs-Elysées have dressed up for the Holiday Season

I debated whether I’d cover the din with some music, and decided that I’d be lazy as usual and would let you enjoy the true atmosphere, noise, traffic jams and all.
I was standing at Rond-Point des Champs-Elysées and looking towards the Louvre and Jardin des Tuileries, where they put the Ferris Wheel in the winter.

My Weekly Flick has not really been weekly lately, neither has my Wednesday Window. Sorry about this, too much exercise, no doubt.:)
Here’s something I captured a couple of nights ago, crossing the river Seine and walking towards Notre-Dame de Paris. Even at night, while the bridge was rather deserted, there was an accordion playing.

Time still flies…

This made me laugh. I had spotted this crazy clock that was making time really fly and just as I was starting to film it,

… when my cell-phone rang, playing When I’m sixty-four by the Beatles.
Of course, now I AM sixty-four
I had forgotten all about this short video taken while walking on the Deauville promenade, les planches.
Time does fly: I took this at the end of August.

Don’t expect porn here! Back in June, we visited the Ménagerie at Jardin des Plantes and went inside the vivarium.

Behind the glass, two frogs…

There were quite a few children visiting the vivarium at the same time as us. I how frogs’ ears are not as sensitive as mine… probably a life a putting up with children’s voices ;) There was a sign saying that animals do get frightened by screams and loud noises, but there was no shushing them.
So I covered some of the noise with music.

Not as clear as it could be but after all, the frogs were behind thick glass :)

My Weekly Flick: baa baa here and baa baa there!

When we got to Housesteads, it felt like we were in the middle of a demonstration. Baa here and baa there, went the sheep.

It took me a while to understand what all this racket was all about.

Ewes and lambs at Housesteads

It seems that we got there right after they had separated the moms from their young, and both sides were either protesting or calling.

More of my Housesteads photos here

Or maybe, as Catherine suggested, they were just counting us ;)
