If oysters make you feel squeamish, please look away!
Doesn’t it feel like it’s looking at you?
This is one of the oysters I had when at Mont-Saint-Michel at the beginning of June. I stayed overnight and had a dinner of oysters with a waffle for my dessert. Not really your classic dinner, but just what I felt like having.

I love the oysters and mussles over there! Our very first visit to France we stayed in Cancale and were in oyster heaven!
What a great photo!!! I’m not an oyster person — but I do love seafood.
Ugh! I’ve only had one oyster in my life, and it was one too many. But, I do love most seafood. Interesting photo, anyway.
Love love love oysters on the half shell. A beguiling image . . .
O.M.G. You’re not pregnant are you? I mean, oysters and waffles. I know you didn’t put the oysters on the waffles like syrup, but… gee and I thought I was the only one who ate weird combinations.
Tee hee …
I only like pearls – but give me crab, winkles, shrimps, prawns and lobster. Yippee.
Waffles in France!!
Your blogs and pics! I love them!!
Oh YUK! LOL
Great photo, but I detest oysters….they’re so slimy! lol
Come to Cedar Key, Claude, we have PLENTY here and nice and fresh.
I use to love them. But they don’t like me…
Nice photo anyway !
It’s probably on the lookout for mignonette sauce…
YUMMY YUMMY! Love these little guys. I was fortunate to have them in Barbezieux and in La Rochelle when I was there. But I missed the waffle! Darn!
