I took this photo while visiting Abney Park Cemetery back in March 2008. Abney Park Cemetery is one of London’s Magnificent Seven. I must admit that it was not my favourite cemetery, but still, it was quite interesting.
Red heart on green glass chippings
Thanks to Leo Reynolds, for the visit of that cemetery and for suggesting this photo for Wednesday Window.
I am definitely not in a blogging mood these days!

I didn’t know you visited Abney Park cemetery! I think it’s a beautiful place. I went there several years ago, searching for my ancestors who are supposed to be buried there. I never found them (well, it was in a terrible state, but that was all part of the charm of the place for me). When I read the Tracy Chevalier novel you lent me, “Falling Angels”, it was Abney Park I was picturing in my mind!

Glass and straw, what an unusual idea. I hope the blogging slump is just because you are outdoors enjoying your summer.

Do not worry about not feeling like blogging - someday it will come back. Please just keep the Wednesday photo going, I would really miss it.
‘Red and Green should never be seen except on an Irish Colleen’ sprang to mind today when I looked at the photo. It is so crisp and clear. Whay an ‘eye’ for beauty you have.

As long as you’re out walking with your camera I think we can look forward to some lovely photos and we’ll just have to wait for the words when you feel like it.

My father-in-law has the same glass chippings on his plot. They sure are easy to maintain!
Don’t worry about the blog. The weather is fine and you should be out playing in the sunshine and not stuck to a computer. Blog later when the weather turns.
Keep taking photos though!
