Ronni Bennett from Time Goes By, What it’s really like to get older was at Gnomedex, last August, and here’s the 42-minute video of her presentation on elders and technology.
Mind you, as I was going to tag this post, I just realised that I didn’t have an Elders category in my blog, or a Growing Old category like the one I have on my French blog. It was high time I added one at almost 63 !

I watched it….and it was great. Ronni speaks well for all of us.
Three cheers for Ronni!
How nice of you to post this. I had a terrific time at Gnomedex and got some great contacts there of people who can make a difference in technology for elders. Thank you for helping spread the word.
Yes, I watched the video on As Time Goes By and thought Ronni was terrific.
Like you, I ought to put the banner on my site but i can’t figure out how to do it.
This is very inspiring and SWEET, yes, to hear younger people being concerned about the issues involved in elders using technology. Gives me hope…I am 62, a mere duckling, still going strong and even belly dancing for the first time, but I know there will come a time when I have difficulties such as Ronni is describing. My neighbor Mickey already does have trouble with her eyes at her computer. It would be wonderful if things actually got easier for us, as we move on. Thanks Ronni for working to make this happen. Thanks Claude for making this video available…
