One full day at Cimetière du Père-Lachaise fills your eyes with incredible sights. I think you could explore it forever.
On my last visit, I liked this monument, the reclining man, his hands and book, the flower…
A book for eternity

I love your cemetery photos. This cemetery has such artistic pieces in monuments. I’ve never been there…something to look foreward to on a future visit…
The light and shadows in the photos are great. Keep walking and keep taking photographs. Many thanks.
Freda is right! and I love the color of the statue. Such antiquity!
I find hands most fascinating on sculpture. I remember studying Davids hands in Florence.
Awesome — I think I would like that for my tombstone!
This is actually very beautiful Claude…
Oh wow….what an incredible monument and book lover that I am, I really like this.
I’ve been to that cemetery once, but don’t recall seeing this wonderful monument. I can see I’ll have to pay a repeat visit in Oct. and walk a different route than I took the last time.
