A long walk through Montparnasse cemetery yesterday, always discovering new things. I’m not sure why I took this photo, but I sort of like the shades of red.
nice ;o) looks like a fire is burning in a fireplace behind the cross (devil having a party ?)
I’ve been to the père lachaise long ago, but never to Montparnasse, i didn’t even know there was a cemetary to visit there. Do you know the Père Lachaise ? how would you say, Montparnasse compare to it ?
(sorry for my english, don’t hesitate to correct big mistakes if any, I’m French ;o))
For me it’s the shape of the etching in white against the red.
Nice photo. I like the red of the leaves and of the window, and the gold color framing the red window.
The silver and red mirroring each other, and the highlighted yellow border–it’s very effective.
The etching stencil is very nice!
I agree…the red is a lovely contrast to the cement of the walls. Nicely done.
You have a magnificent talent for finding beauty in unusual or unnoticed places! How often do we walk past colours like that and not notice?

I love this photo. You captured it well. And I love walking through that cemetery when I’m in Paris.
