This building, near the Champs-Elysées is being refurbished, but no scaffoldings in view. Instead, it has been “wrapped” in some sort of printed oilcloth, representing a “soft” building. A reminiscence of Dali’s The Persistence of Memory?

That is so cool looking! Only in Paris …
Strange indeed. Like something out of DisneyWorld.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like this. What an effect!
Wow! That made me dizzy. Great photo.
I saw something similar but not so creative on many of the buildings in Italy that are being refurbished. in Italy they just reimage the building as it would look and you have to look twice to realize it is just canvas! You building is so much nicer than plan scaffolding or ugly canvas–it is a creative statement on the work.
I like it. I think I saw something similar in Italy (like Tabor said).
I think this photo is just fascinating!
I have a few photos of buildings in Berlin like the kind that just imitate the building. This one at first made me think of the dancing building in Prague. What a great photo.
Very nice effect, looks like we’re entering the 4th dimension ^_^
It does look surrealistic…or like a funhouse mirror that distorts everything! Love it!
